Alex Brown

 
 
 

Alex Brown born 17th May 1979 in Bristol. He is the only Clifton player to have gone though the Junior ranks from u7 to 1st XV and play for England.

He was part of the award winning Colstons Collegiate side

26th May 2007 v South Africa (Vodacom Park, Bloemfontein) Lost 10-58

2nd June 2007 v South Africa (Dummy Stadium, Pretoria) Lost 22-50

Following spells with Bath and Pontypool he joined Bristol where he won the first Under 21 Zurich Premiership. When Bristol were relegated in 2003 he joined Gloucester.

He has won England Caps at u19, u21 and A level. He also played for England on 28th May 2006 v Barbarians at Twickenham. England won 49 - 19

He has suffered several injuries but finally won his first England Cap
